Rockpool Publishing sent over the Lost Oracle. I fell in love with it instantly. Just look at this color palette. I was so drawn to the colors & images in this deck. These cards have a stunning color palette with mauves, browns, creams and pops of red and black with gorgeous black edges and the card backs feature a lantern amidst overgrown twisted branches – some of the most beautiful card backs I’ve seen on an oracle deck.
It released Oct. 1st, so it’s brand new. I’ve read with it all of October and it’s the perfect deck for this time of year. If you loved the book Slewfoot, you might resonate with these cards and images that cover similar themes & energy.
We see card titles of Found, Power and Might, Ancestral Alchemy, Elixir, Pierce the Veil, Stardust and Soil, & Midnight Brew
There are card titles/keywords and a short phrase on the front of each card to help highlight the theme and offer a quick message if you don’t have the time to pull out the guidebook. I personally love to read the description in the guidebooks to learn of the detailed message and vision the creator and authors had for each card. And these descriptions are meaty and usually offer a lesson from history or folklore that relates to finding your place in the world or finding the light in the dark. I’m blown away by the poetic nature of this deck.
The creator says, “The Lost Oracle is a resource for making peace with your place in the world. It is a source of protection, a guide for healing, a touchstone of reassurance and a compass for experiencing success of all kinds in life. It is an unwavering light shining on an uncertain future that can become less troubling and more enticing when viewed from an enlightened perspective. Steeped in ancient wisdom, Lost Oracle will help you understand and manage the forces around you and within you today to find your way to the place where you feel found.”
Power and Might - Be free from judgement
A simple yet powerful woman walks resolutely, carrying the nourishing fruits of harvest: a basket of apples, a pumpkin and a bundle of healing herbs. The apples are her fertile magic, cut open they reveal the sacred pentagram of seeds and the blessings of the witch. This card speaks of resilience, empowerment, redemption and the magnification of one’s strength. When you draw this card, it is time to let the world witness the unfolding of your true, unbridled power. Thank the would-be oppressors for the opportunity to unleash your intrinsic might and forge your evolving journey of self-discovery and liberation in the face of their disbelief.
Reads beautifully with The Oracle of the Witch and the Wild Woman Oracle. All 3 are published by Rockpool Publishing and I’ve reviewed those 2 decks so check out those on my tarot blog. Here's my Samhain Ancestors Reading from this year that I threw with this deck and my other witchy decks. I thought it was a perfect fit with the Seasons of the Witch Samhain oracle, The Horror Tarot, The Oracle of Shadows and Light, and the Oracle of the Witch.
Here's that Samhain Ancestor Spread I created if you want to throw it for yourself and use the Lost Oracle because it brought out such insightful and wise messages from my ancestors this year.
Thanks to Rockpool Publishing for sending this amazing and insightful deck over. I will be pulling this deck out every autumn and working with it through the winter months as those are the months when I seem to need the most guidance that this deck seems to deliver.

This series follows a group of women (witches, healers, diviners) who reincarnate lifetime after lifetime and reunite with their coven so they can fulfill a mission of keeping their craft of divination, healing, and magic alive for future generations.
Book Blurb for Book 1: The Call of the Cards
Alexandra Steele, a clinical psychologist, stumbles upon a mystical store in downtown, Memphis, TN, where she encounters tarot cards for the first time. She doesn't realize it at the time, but this simple encounter will leave her life forever changed as she uncovers a world of past life connections to the cards and the craft of divination. This sparks an awakening that opens door after door of a long line of mystic and witch incarnations that run throughout her history. As she reconnects to these deep mystical ties, she begins to learn about her destiny, which is revealed as she starts to encounter coven sisters and foes from previous incarnations. Will her tendency to hide in the shadows and play small continue to hold her back or will the call of the cards lure her onto her destined path of a life full of magic and sisterhood?
